Practical Guide for Identification and Use of Disability Data Based on the Washington Short Set of Disability Questions

Based on ASB (and DiDRRN) experience, the Washington Group Short Set (WG-SS) of Questions has been very useful in ensuring the inclusion of persons with disabilities in disaster risk reduction and humanitarian response contexts. This practical guide aims to promote the wider use of the WG-SS to identify persons with disabilities and facilitate inclusive disaster risk reduction and humanitarian response practices.
